芍药种子具有“双休眠”特性,自然播种萌发率低,生长周期长。试验对‘朱砂判’种子进行了GA3和低温处理,研究其对促进种子萌发和幼苗生长的效果。结果表明,GA3能够解除种子下胚轴休眠并促进生根,其中100 mg·L-1GA3处理的生根率与生根质量最好,生根率最高为41.33%;低温结合GA3处理不同主根长度的种子,对解除上胚轴休眠和促进幼苗生长均具有显著性影响,当主根长度<3 cm时,低温(4℃)4周后500 mg·L-1GA3的处理最有利于种子萌芽与幼苗生长,萌芽率最高为96.67%;这种组合处理还可以促使芍药种子从播种到萌发所需时间缩至48 d。
