洪堡特的汉语研究是建立在深入的哲学思考和广泛的语言比较基础之上的,因而有独到的见解。同时,其“旁观”的视角,也有我们“身在此山中”的人难于实现的观察。他尤其对汉语语法有较系统的看法,其中的真知灼见能在汉语事实中得到印证,颇具启发意义。重新审视洪堡特的汉语观,有助于我们更进一步认识汉语语法的特点。 Humboldt’s Chinese studies are based on in-depth philosophical thinking and extensive linguistic comparison, and thus have unique insights. In the meantime, its “spectacle” perspective also gives us the observation that people in this mountain are hard to come by. In particular, he has a more systematic view of Chinese grammar, and his insights can be proved in Chinese facts, which is quite instructive. A re-examination of Humboldt’s Chinese concept will help us to further understand the characteristics of Chinese grammar.
