Replacing hot-rolled steel with curved cold-formed sheet steel is one of the important development directions of agricultural machinery structure design. Generally can save material 25%. This paper introduces the method of replacing ordinary carbon steel with high strength steel, and points out that the weight can be reduced by 15-35% and the cost can be reduced by 5-15% through the process of quenching and tempering. In addition, a method of replacing cold-rolled cross-section beams with cold-formed cross-section beams is also introduced.
