在人类艺术史所有的阶段,总是以不同的旋律回荡着具象观念与抽象观念的争论。在具象艺术家看来,艺术应该真实地模仿自然的美,艺术是自然的延伸;而在非具象艺术家那里,自然是一回事,而作为人类创造物的艺术则是另外一回事。然而,在具体的艺术创作实践中,具象与抽象的观念、办法真正能截然分开吗?答案显而易见,一个连基本抽象能力都没有的艺术家也不会成为好的写实主义艺术家。 如果我们能意识到,从本质上讲,抽象与具象是人类的两种生理、心理机能,人类以此形成了观察、掌握世界的两种方
At all stages of the history of human art, the controversies of figurative and abstract ideas are always echoed in different melodies. In the view of figurative artists, art should truly imitate the beauty of nature. Art is a natural extension; while in the case of non-figurative artists, nature is one thing and art as a human creation is another. However, in the practice of concrete art, can the concrete and abstract ideas be completely separated? The answer is obvious. Even an artist who has no basic abstraction ability will not become a good realistic artist. If we can realize that abstractly and figuratively are two kinds of physiological and psychological functions of human beings in essence, human beings thus form two kinds of parties for observing and mastering the world
