轮船招商局作为近代中国第一个大型官督商办股份制企业,其经营体制、经营理念在晚清洋务企业中具有极强的代表性。源于西方的股份制被舶来中国之后,在晚清政治体制的束缚下逐渐发展成具有中国本土特色的官督商办股份制度,并成为洋务企业标志性的运营模式。探索轮船招商局官督商办股份制的特殊经营方式,对于继续研究以轮船招商局为代表的一批洋务派兴办的近代股份制企业具有积极作用。
As the first large-scale supervisor in modern China, China Merchants Steamship Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock company. Its management system and business philosophy are highly representative in the late Qing Dynasty. After the stock system from the west came to China, under the influence of the political system in the late Qing Dynasty, it gradually developed into a system of shareholding of the Governor-General and the merchant-run with local characteristics in China and became the landmark operation mode of the Westernization Enterprises. Exploring the special mode of operation of the China Merchants Steamship Administration supervised by the Ministry of Commerce for holding shareholding system plays an active role in continuing to study the group of modern joint-stock enterprises established by the Westernization Bureau, represented by the China Merchants Steamship.
