近二、三十年来,随着世界经济技术的进步和社会“都市化”进程的加剧,城市已作为人类进行生产实践和社会活动的主要场所,其地位和重要性日趋突出。城市范围、人口、规模的迅猛发展给城市建设带来了一系列迫切需要解决的重大问题,如城市的合理规划、布局,土地的综合利用,城市环境保护、生态控制等。一门新兴的地质边缘学科—城市地质学便应运而生,并在实践中发展、丰富,形成了独具特色的研究内容和任务。
In the past two or three decades, with the progress of world economy and technology and the “urbanization” of the society, the city has become the main place for mankind’s production practice and social activities. Its status and importance have become increasingly prominent. The rapid development of urban area, population and scale have brought a series of urgent urgent problems to be solved in urban construction, such as rational planning and layout of cities, comprehensive utilization of land, urban environmental protection and ecological control. An emerging discipline of geology - urban geology came into being and developed and enriched in practice, forming a unique research content and tasks.
