步间矿柱,是利用链斗式采金船开采的砂金矿山造成金属损失的主要因素。步间矿柱的形成,由采金船斗链的挖掘特性所确定。一、步间矿柱的特点白水金矿垂直方向金的富集规律见图1,各矿地质资料中,残积碎石层(位于河漫滩堆积物的最下层,直接覆盖在基石之上)所含金属量占混合砂层所含金属量的30~57.1%,而其厚度仅为混合砂层的3.27~14.79%,见表1。
