不时从《中国体育报》上看到有关美国职业篮球界最新情况的文章,暑名者竞是宋涛。上月,这位2米07的国家男篮“巨人”,又应邀在中央人民广播电台的体育节目中,连续几次绘声绘色地向听众介绍美国职业篮球。从今年职业赛述评,到著名中锋的技术风格和轶事趣闻,妙趣横生,听后使人深受启发。笔者曾有幸几次采访宋涛,知道收集美国职业篮球界的有关信息,是这位年轻中锋的一种嗜好。为此,多年来他坚持自学英语,已经达到“半个翻译”的水平。所以如此,原因很简单:美国职业篮球代表了世界篮球的最高水平。当今时代是信息时代。中国体育要全面赶超世界先进水平,随时掌握各个项目的最新信息,吸收各种先进技战术为我所用,必不可少。有些运动员认为,这一切都是科研人员和教练的事,自己的任务只是踏踏实实完成训练
