我父亲冯文炳(废名)1901年11月9日生于湖北黄梅县城。黄梅在鄂东,地处湖北、江西、安徽三省交界的地方,是交通要道。这里山灵水秀,风景优美,民风纯朴善良。黄梅也是佛教圣地,有五祖寺、四祖寺等著名庙宇,老百姓信佛的很多,妇女为求子许愿,请菩萨保佑,便去庙里烧香磕头。记得小时母亲常带我到庙里去,后来读父亲的作品,才知道他小时也有同样的经历,尤其五祖寺,给他的印象太深了。黄梅的环境和民风,都对父亲以后的思想和创作影响很大。 My father Feng Wenbing (Fei Ming) was born on November 9, 1901 in Huangmei County, Hubei Province.
