俭可以养德、可以养寿、可以养神、可以养气。治政廉为首,廉为政之本。清正廉洁,是中华优秀廉政文化的重要组成部分,也是历朝历代为官为政必备的素养。儒家思想把清廉看作为官的三大法宝之首。孟子说,取不义之财,就伤了自己为官的清廉;班固说,做官如果不能做到廉洁公平,国家就无法获得良治,受到伤害的就是老百姓。面对险恶的官场生态环境,每个官员面前有两种选择:随波逐流、贪腐享乐,或者清廉自律、洁身自好。不同的选择决定不同的人生
Thrifty can raise virtues, you can raise life, you can recuperate, you can raise gas. Governance is the leader of the government and the government of integrity is the foundation of politics. Being honest and clean is an important part of China’s outstanding culture of honest and clean administration and also a necessary accomplishment of every government in history. Confucianism regarded cleanliness as the first of the three magic weapons of officialdom. Mencius said that taking unjust enrichments would injure oneself as officials’ cleanliness; Baogu said that if an official can not be honest and fair, the state can not get good governance and the people are harmed. Faced with the sinister bureaucratic environment, there are two choices before each official: drift, corruption, or self-discipline. Different choices determine different lives
