2010年,我国明确把保障和改善民生,全力维护社会稳定列为今后经济工作的主要任务之一。保障和改善民生是我们发展经济的最终目的,是建设社会主义和谐社会的基础性工程,也是实施扩大内需战略和推动经济发展方式转变的重大举措。
In 2010, China clearly listed as one of its major tasks in ensuring and improving people’s livelihood and in its efforts to maintain social stability as the future economic work. Ensuring and improving people’s livelihood is the ultimate goal of our economic development and a fundamental project for building a harmonious socialist society. It is also a major measure for implementing the strategy of expanding domestic demand and transforming the mode of economic development.
