我以极大的兴趣,读完邵品琮先生写的“批判在数学发展史观中的形而上学观点”(发表于数学通报57年1月号,以下简称“批判”)。无疑,错误的观点应该纠正。正确观点,也要在与错误观点斗争之中,进一步发展。这正是矛盾法则所教导我们的。因此,我非常希望就从这“批判”,开始一次广泛的讨论,从而再掀起数学工作者学习马列主义哲学的热潮。 I have read with great interest the “Critique of Metaphysics in the View of Mathematics Development History” written by Mr. Shao Pinzhao (published in the Mathematics Bulletin, January 57, hereinafter referred to as “Critique”). Undoubtedly, wrong views should be corrected. The correct view must also be further developed in the struggle against the wrong viewpoint. This is exactly what contradiction laws teach us. Therefore, I very much hope to start an extensive discussion from this “criticism,” and thus set off an upsurge of mathematicians studying Marxism-Leninism.
