三维影像液晶显示器又称立体液晶显示器。由于人类的眼睛已经习惯日常生活中三维立体影像,因此认为包含电影在内及其他显示器所显示的画面也应该是立体影像。为了满足这一需要,科学家们不断地对三次元立体影像技术进行研发,于20世纪末开发出新一代三次元液晶显示器。1.三维影像显示器的核心技术三维影像显示器的核心技术是三维影像分割器。早在1994年日本SANYO(三洋)公司就研发出不需专用眼镜的三维立体影像分割器,利用这种影像分割器可以用来观赏立体动态影像。三维影像分割器的工作原理如图1所示。它是根据视差障碍原理使影像交互排列,先通过细长的纵列光栅
