(E—mail:liuyaming@cmednews.com)
Hypertension as a single stroke risk factor has been recognized as long-term, reasonable and effective antihypertensive treatment can significantly reduce the incidence of first stroke. However, the specific mechanism of stroke blood pressure regulation, especially in the treatment of acute high blood pressure has been debated. Since the 1970s, many scholars have conducted extensive research on the changes of blood pressure in acute stroke and their treatment, and many aspects of understanding have begun to converge. From the controversy to the consensus, it reflects that the research from the basic to the clinical promotes each other more and more deeply, making the theory and practice of stroke prevention and control more and more scientific and mature. Both neurologists, cardiologists and major physicians need to have a deeper understanding of the underlying mechanisms of stroke and blood pressure regulation in order to better understand and solve clinical problems. In this article, specialists in neurology and cardiovascular medicine are invited to discuss the mechanism of stroke and blood pressure regulation from different perspectives and to discuss several hot issues that are representative of them in combination with clinical practice. At the same time, we will publish the relevant topics in “forums” one after another. Looking forward to your participation. (E-mail: liuyaming@cmednews.com)
