Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture’s Institute of Drug Control announced that it would conduct a comprehensive rectification of pesticide products that had been registered for a period of more than four years. The rectification was organized by the Institute of Drug Control and the provincial drug inspection institutes conducted a preliminary review of pesticide registration. The drug control institute will also organize a unified registration test for the relevant products to help the relevant enterprises to pass formal registration. The pesticides that were cleared this time were all obtained before July 23, 1999.
