国务院总理温家宝签署第457号国务院令,公布《艾滋病防治条例》,条例自2006年3月1日起施行。条例规定了艾滋病病毒感染者、艾滋病病人及其家属的权利和义务。艾滋病人就医入学受保护条例规定,任何单位和个人不得歧视艾滋病病毒感染者、艾滋病病人及其家属。艾滋病病毒感染者、艾滋病病人及其家属享有的婚姻、就业、就医、入学等合法权益受法律保护。同时,艾滋病病毒感染者、艾滋病病人及其家属应当履行下列义务:接受疾病预防控制机构或者出入境检验检疫机构的流行病学调查和指导;将感染或者发病的事实及时告知接诊医生;采取必要的
Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council signed Order No. 457 of the State Council promulgating the “Regulations on the Prevention and Control of AIDS”, which will go into effect on March 1, 2006. The regulations set out the rights and obligations of those living with HIV, AIDS patients and their families. The AIDS Prevention Medical Admission Regulations stipulate that no unit or individual may discriminate against people living with HIV, AIDS patients and their families. The legitimate rights and interests of people living with HIV, AIDS patients and their families enjoying marriage, employment, medical treatment and schooling are protected by law. At the same time, people living with HIV, AIDS patients and their families should fulfill the following obligations: receive epidemiological investigation and guidance from disease prevention and control agencies or entry-exit inspection and quarantine authorities; promptly inform the admissions doctor of the facts of the infection or illness; of
