非洲当代艺术以其独特的语言、形式、风格成为世界当代艺术体系中重要的部分。非洲社会的独特经历直接影响着其当代艺术,其当代艺术发展受到多种层面的影响。首先是非洲独有并流传至今的传统文化,其次是非洲大陆400多年的殖民文化,再次是伴随殖民文化出现的宗教文化,第四是新时代背景下的全球化影响。当代非洲艺术是多元化的独具特色的艺术势力,并且这股艺术势力会越来越多的被我们所认识、欣赏和接受。
African contemporary art has become an important part of the world contemporary art system with its unique language, form and style. The unique experience of African society has a direct impact on its contemporary art. Its development in contemporary art is influenced by many aspects. The first is the traditional culture that is unique to Africa and has been handed down to the present. The second is the colonial culture of more than 400 years on the African continent. The third is the religious culture accompanying colonial culture. The fourth is the globalization effect in the new era. Contemporary African art is a diversified and unique artistic force, and this artistic force will be more and more recognized, appreciated and accepted by us.
