我从1973年接受了《利用赤眼蜂防治玉米螟的研究》课题。一开始就遵照毛主席关于“我们提倡知识分子到群众中去,到工厂去,到农村去”的教导,到农村蹲点,和群众一起搞研究。四年来,在各级党组织领导和关怀下,我在贫下中农的再教育下,共同战斗,一起克服了许多困难,使这项科学试验推广工作件到了迅速的发展。1976年全地区利用赤眼蜂防治玉米螟面积达到二十一万亩,防治效果在70—80％以上,桦南县金沙公社已经全面推广了利用赤眼蜂冶螟。几年来还扩大了防治对象,对高粱螟、谷螟和甘兰夜蛾善都有限好的防治效果。贫下中农高兴地说:“育蜂治虫,工省效宏”。
