杨凝式(少师)怍为五代书法中坚,在唐宋间起着承上启下的重要作用,对于二王笔法的传递历来给予高度评价。杨所处的时代正值五季之乱,他佯狂不仕。每不自检束,人以杨风子称之。其书如同其性格奇突多变,结体以险绝为奇。在他所存墨迹看来《韭花帖》简静精敛;《神仙起居法》奇倔姿肆,跌宕起伏合长史妙笔;《夏热帖》则字画奇古,笔势飞动;《卢鸿草堂十志图》有《祭侄稿》之雄浑气度。难能可贵的是他能以迥异的风格处理这类作品。譬如《韭花帖》之简静神
