魏晋南北朝时期,在佛教心性论、中观论、形神论的影响下,中国古典美学发生了重要流变:一是强调“心”在艺术创作中的作用;二是在艺术概括的基础上追求更本质的“艺术真实”;三是强调自形入神、形神兼备而终止神似的艺术审美理想。由此,中国古典美学确立了“崇心”“求真”“重神”三大基调,步入了自立、自觉、自为的发展道路,形成了与西方思辩美学截然不同的诗意化风格。
