“三层六步式”教学法是根据一个班学生的性格特点、个性特征、智力状况和学业水平,把学生分为三个层次、用六步推进教学的一种教学方法。一、认真研究学生和教材,准确进行层次分类每当接手一个新班的英语课程教学任务时,我首先在一周内熟悉所教的教材,边试着教学边研究学生,在两周时间摸清学生的入校成绩、家庭背景、个性特点以及上课反应情况等,把学生大体分为好、中、差三类。然后再根据现有分类尝试着进行分层次教学,边实践边总结,边总结边纠正,大致在一个月内做到心中有数、游刃有余。当然这个分类的尺码只在教师自己心里,学生看不出来,他们所感受到的是教师对他们所有人的关注、鼓励、肯定和赏识。这个方法若运用不恰当,让学生看出端倪,会伤害到部分学生的自尊心,也会让那些学得轻松的学生翘尾巴。
