With the global population and energy demand growing, huge natural gas reserves in East Africa continue to attract the attention of investors from all over the world along the “Silk Road” from China to Africa. But intensifying competition among global LNG exporters means East Africa’s “window of opportunity” will gradually close. In an increasingly competitive environment, East Africa should take advantage of its own advantages to speed up the development of LNG projects and realize the rich resources as soon as possible.
