What is the impact of new technology on book art? What kind of book will be in 2000? In the spring of 1989, I was invited to the book city of democratic Germany - Leipzig, to attend the International Book Art Exhibition International jury awards. This exhibition, which began in 1914 and has a history of 75 years, has been hailed as the “World Gallery of Book Art” and has a very high international reputation. This year’s exhibition is the largest with 10,000 fine exhibits in 91 countries and a variety of academic seminars on book art.
