On August 1, 1927, when the Chinese Communists led the armed uprising for the first time, they looked up to the banners of Nanchang’s urban head. Many people were thinking about how long this banner could be carried. Few realized that this day would be recorded in the annals of history. On August 1, 2015, this banner soaked in blood and glory has accompanied the brutal adventures of the People’s Army for 88 years. This day, embroidered in the flag, engraved on the monument, branded in the spiritual birthmark of each Republican soldier. This day is the collective birthday of our soldiers. This flag is the bloodline totem of our soldiers.
