坚持社会主义市场经济的改革方向,是中央多次强调的深化改革的重要方针。为了准确、深入地理解这一方针,本文运用马克思主义观点,从改革理论高度,就改革的性质、改革的理论基础、改革的目标、改革的对象、改革的依靠力量、改革的方式、改革的原则和前途等八个方面,对社会主义市场经济改革和新自由主义经济改革两种截然不同的改革特征和性质作了深入的比较分析;联系改革实践中的教训,明确指出:必须从上述诸方面坚定不移地坚持社会主义市场经济的改革方向,坚决批判和抵制新自由主义的改革方向。
