There has long been a notion in science and production that trees and shrubs are dormant during the winter and that plants have no biological activity during this fairly long period of time and that no biological process appears to be taking place in their bodies. The Russian botanist Jezreynoff first proved science in science in 1851 that winter dormancy of plants does not exist, but can only say that trees and shrubs are relatively dormant in winter.
