6月7日上午,市政府在市府礼堂召开“万众齐心兴科技建设广州大都市”系列活动动员大会。市委常委、副市长伍亮在会上说,政府、企业和个人要共同支持市科技进步基金会,壮大科技基金会的实力,以便干更多的实事。今年初以来,广州市科技进步基金会开展了“万众齐心兴科技建设广州大都市”系列活动。其中包括今年6月给“广州市科学技术突出贡献金鼎奖”、“广州市科技进步奖”、“高新技术开拓奖”、“科技金桥奖”、“科技创业奖”、“科技之星奖”等6个奖项的获奖者颁奖;筹备和成立市科技进步基金会设立的科技进步基金会会员制基金委员会;继续争取境内外对基金会的支持。
