Objective To understand the status quo of CDC responding to emergency resources in sudden chemical poisoning incidents in our province and provide a reference for constructing capacity assessment system and rational allocation of health resources. Methods The study was designed by cross-sectional study. With 21 prefecture-level CDC in the province as the research object, the emergency resources survey was conducted by means of questionnaires and on-the-spot investigation. Results At present, the municipal CDC has begun to take shape to tackle the emergency resources of sudden chemical poisoning. However, there are still some problems such as the lack of professionals, the lack of material reserves, the lack of updated plans and the shortage of emergency funds. Conclusion The CDC should further strengthen the input of emergency resources for chemical poisoning and establish a complete emergency rescue system.
