任务型英语教学是在英语课堂教学中让学生用英语完成各种真实的生活、学习、工作等方面的任务,将课堂教学的目标真实化、任务化,从而培养学生运用英语的能力。任务型教学就是以具体的任务为学习动力或动机,以完成任务的过程为学习的过程,以展示任务成果的方式(而不是以测试的分数)来体现教学的成果。教师完成教学任务的过程也是学生通过思考、调查、讨论、交流和合作等方式来完成学习任务的过程。《英语课程标准》
