“平均数”一课的教学,不仅要重视对平均数的算法和概念的理解,更要重视发展学生的数据分析观念,使学生愿意用平均数来刻画数据。平均数是统计教学中的一个重要概念,它是反映一组数据集中趋势的最常用的统计量,也是小学数学统计教学的重要内容。但在“平均数”的课堂教学中,教师往往把目光聚焦于纯粹的平均数数量关系的掌握应用上,学生会套用公式进行计算,就算达成教学目标了。这样只注重计算而忽视运用方法提取信息、体会方法价值的做法,其结果是当学生遇到真正的数据需要分析时,很少想到应用平均数。
Teaching “Average” should not only emphasize the understanding of the mean algorithms and concepts, but also emphasize the development of students’ concepts of data analysis so that students are willing to use the average to describe the data. Averaging is an important concept in statistics teaching. It is the most commonly used statistic that reflects trends in a set of data and is an important part of primary school mathematics statistics teaching. However, in class teaching of “average ”, teachers tend to focus on the application of the purely quantitative relationship between the average number of students to apply formulas to calculate, even if the teaching goal is reached. This only focuses on the calculation and ignores the use of methods to extract information and understand the value of the method, the result is that when students encounter real data needs analysis, rarely think of the application of the average.
