Researchers found that Chinese middle school students have a profound degree of learning. Nationally harmonized curricula have surprisingly compressed a large amount of material for 12 years and the range of skills mastered by graduating students seems to have dwarfed the average U.S. middle school student. However, compared with the U.S.-China science education, American researchers think that Chinese students are outstanding but lack one important quality. This is creativity.
