我厂热处理车间的箱式电炉和井式电炉功率大,生产送电周期长,耗电量占全车间的一半以上;而车间的总耗电量占全厂用电的20-25%,因此,针对箱式炉进行节电技术改造可在全厂节电产生积极效果。我厂改造了热处理车间耗电量最大的75瓩箱式炉;实践证明,设备经技术改造以后节电效果良好,改炉后炉温在650℃以下,比未改造前节电25%,在650℃至950℃高温时,比仅装用红外线再节电25%,缩短了升温时间,提高了生产率,在车间上半年生产任务比去年同期增加了24.46%的情况下,而耗电量从去年同期耗电量72.3万度降低到68.1万度。车间虽然采用了其它一些节电措施,但推广使用了远红外线中温以下加热和玻瑞陶瓷纤维毡高温保温的结果最为显著。
