I still often dream of that tree. When I felt lonely and puzzled, the lonely landscape of the deepest life appeared in my mind day and night. The tree reminded me of a “lonely” tree that Kafka once wrote “In the Wasteland.” He once asked that the tree rules everything, and who then leads the big tree? Kafka is genius and lonely, extremely lonely. His “lonely” tree-like works in “abandoning the wilderness” have at least enabled me, a person who believes that he has stepped into the river of youth, to move toward a spirit that cannot be extricated. The “lonely” tree took away my usual heart again and again. Invisible, I could often dream of seeing the big tree.
