系统性红斑狼疮是以分泌辅助性T细胞 2型细胞因子为主 ,介导体液免疫反应的自身免疫性疾病 ,而类风湿性关节炎是以分泌辅助性T细胞 1型细胞因子为主 ,介导细胞免疫反应损伤的疾病。类固醇激素睾酮、脱氢表雄酮、硫酸脱氢表雄酮有促进辅助性T细胞 1型细胞因子分泌的作用 ,而雌二醇有增强辅助性T细胞 2型细胞因子分泌的作用 ;类固醇激素在系统性红斑狼疮和类风湿性关节炎发病机制中起着重要的作用。
