ATOM重型步兵战车是由俄罗斯JSC Burevestnik中心研究所(Ural Vagonzavod下属部门)和法国雷诺卡车国防公司联合研制。该车底盘是基于VBCI步兵战车研制的,具有模块装甲板全焊接车体。车辆的传动、动力和火控系统由雷诺公司设计,武器系统由Ural Vagonzavod设计。
The ATOM heavy infantry combat vehicle was jointly developed by Russia’s JSC Center for Burevestnik (a unit of Ural Vagonzavod) and Renault Trucks Defense of France. The car chassis is based on VBCI infantry fighting vehicle developed with a fully welded armored module body. The vehicle’s transmission, power and fire control system was designed by Renault and the weapon system was designed by Ural Vagonzavod.
