为配合三峡库区建设,2003年3至5月,开封市文物工作队受重庆市三峡文物管理办公室委托,对位于重庆市万州区新乡镇寨子村的嘴嘴墓群进行了考古发掘,共清理墓葬8座,其中土坑竖穴墓6座,砖石墓2座。发掘的墓葬从战国延续到东汉,保存相对较好,形制基本完整,并出土了一批精美的文物,为研究当地的墓葬演变规律和丧葬制度提供了珍贵的考古资料。
To tie in with the construction of the Three Gorges reservoir area, from March to May 2003, the Kaifeng City Cultural Relics Work Team was entrusted by the Three Gorges Relics Management Office of Chongqing Municipality to carry out archaeological excavations of the mouth mouth tombs in the village of Zhaizi, Wanxiang District, Chongqing Municipality to clean up 8 tombs, of which 6 pit mound vertical hole, two masonry tomb. Excavations of the tombs from the Warring States period to the Eastern Han Dynasty, relatively well preserved, the basic integrity of the system, and unearthed a number of exquisite artifacts, in order to study the evolution of local tombs and funeral system provides precious archaeological data.
