经济与社会的快速发展促进了我国高等教育事业的普及,高校扩招以来招生规模得突飞猛进,已超过了高等教育大众化阶段的基准线。高等教育大众化的根本原因是我国历史文化背景和经济发展的需要,随之而来的高等教育质量的下降和精英教育的衰退已经不同程度地发生了,尤其是大学扩张最快的本科工商管理学科教育质量和精英教育问题更为严重。面对很多企业对管理精英的迫切需求,如何面对精英教育衰落是高等教育大众化、普及化发展过程中需要深刻思考的问题。
