东兴位于我国大陆海岸线最西南端,隶属广西防城港市,是我国惟一兼有陆路、水路和海路与东盟国家相连的口岸。20世纪三四十年代,东兴就成为我国与东南亚以及美、英法等国通商的重要口岸,有“小香港”之称后来由于边境摩擦与战争,基础设施毁坏严重,经济基础薄弱,边民生活艰难。随着1991年中越关系正常化和沿边开发开放的扩大,沉寂的东兴口岸又重新焕发勃勃生机2010年6月,东兴被列为国家重点开发开放试
Dongxing is located in the most western coast of China’s mainland coastline and is under the jurisdiction of Fangchenggang City in Guangxi. It is the only port in China that connects both land, water and sea with ASEAN countries. In the 1930s and 1940s, Dongxing became an important port for our country’s trade with Southeast Asia, the United States, Britain, France and other countries. After “border crossing” and “war,” the infrastructure was severely damaged and the economic foundation was weak. Life is hard. With the normalization of relations between China and Vietnam in 1991 and the expansion of development and opening up along the border, the quiet Dongxing Port reemed with vitality.
