相对于正宴大餐而言,小吃之“小”也许指的是价位和进餐环境。也就是说,你坐在大雅之堂吃一口鱼翅就是大吃;你蹲在路边小店干掉八碗米粉也是小吃。汉语的语境太复杂了,在大吃大喝与小吃小喝之间,褒贬之意经常转换。大吃往往代表着奢侈腐败和饕餮之徒;小吃则寓意着勤俭节约、随意自然。大吃能让人吃腻;小吃却总是让人解馋。可要是让一个天天吃米粉的人鄙视鸡鸭鱼肉,他一定会反唇相讥:哪个愿意天
Relative to the feast dinner, the snack of “small” may refer to the price and dining environment.
