建筑是一种大型的艺术,而陶艺是材料的艺术。新型材料的使用能够增加建筑的创新点,也能够使建筑特色更加精彩。建筑的使用与功能性需要材料来维持,陶艺作为一种陶瓷材料,与建筑有一定的关联性。越来越多的建筑师乃至陶艺家已经开始探索建筑与陶艺的结合。建筑与陶艺的结合,说到底就是艺术材料的应用创新。随着科学技术的发展、社会的进步、人类的创新,务必会让建筑融入陶艺,而陶艺能够产生各种肌理、特点、性能、装饰效果等,也务必会使建筑熠熠生辉。
