根据上一届大学外语指导委员会的一项调查,发现“用人单位对近几年来毕业的大学生英语综合能力普遍感到不满意,对口语则更为不满。”[1]新的《大学英语课程教学要求》则指出“大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力——。”[2(]p.1)“学生积极性不高的主要原因是现有的考试方式难以体现学生的交际能力。”[3]“多种评估方式的结合是大学英语课程改革的一个重要方面。”[2]因此,如何改革现有的评价方式,借以提高学生的英语水平,培养自主学习能力,为社会输送交际型人才已成为迫在眉睫的问题。
