在全国医疗单位的“医疗体制改革”进程中,作为全国500所大型医院之一,国家“三级乙等医院”和“爱婴医院”的大同市第三人民医院,在山西省人大代表、院长戎有平的领导下,以精神文明建设为工作核心,在改革中与时俱进,在创新中不断发展,连续十年被评为省级文明单位,取得了良好的社会效益和显著的经济效益。2002年,该院获得“全国精神文明创建先进集体”、“山西省十佳爱婴医院”、“山西省卫生标兵示范单位”、“山西省医德、医风建设标兵单位”等荣誉称号,山西省劳动竞赛委员会授予该院集体一等功。戎有平院长也被评为“全国优秀院长”,并被山西省委授予“山西省社会主义劳动竞赛个人一等功”。

President Rong Youping was also named “National Excellent Dean” and was awarded “First Class Individuals in Shanxi Province’s Socialist Labor Competition” by Shanxi Provincial Party Committee.
