本文记述的鹦鹉螺化石,系彭善池于1980年在湖南慈利高桥公社沈家湾村附近实测上寒武统剖面时采集的(图1)。经鉴定,计有3属3种(包括1新属,3新种)即:Huaihe-hunanense sp. nov., Chabactoceras ciliense sp. nov., Cilioceras exogastrum gen. et sp. nov.。慈利沈家湾一带上寒武统顶部的沈家湾组和下奥陶统底部的盘家咀组为一套连续沉积的碳酸盐岩地层。主要由灰黑色薄一中厚层条带状灰岩,中一厚层含灰岩透镜体的纹层灰岩,及黑色风化后呈土黄色的泥质灰岩、泥灰岩所组成。上述化石产于沈家湾组上部的一层厚约20厘米的灰黑色致密灰岩之中,在此层之上约10米处和
The nautilus fossils described in this article were collected by Peng Shanchi in 1980 when the Upper Cambrian profile was measured near Shenjiawan Village, Cili Takahashi, Hunan (Figure 1). There are 3 genera and 3 species (including 1 new genera and 3 new species) in Huaihe-hunanense sp. Nov., Chabactoceras ciliense sp. Nov., Cilioceras exogastrum gen. Et sp. Nov. The Shenjiawan Formation at the top of the Upper Cambrian in the area of Cijiawan and the Panjiaju Formation at the bottom of the Lower Ordovician are a set of continuously deposited carbonate rocks.
