Objective To investigate the relationship between sleep quality and stroke-specific quality of life in first-episode ischemic stroke patients. Methods According to the criteria of the study, ischemic stroke patients were divided into sleep disorder group and non-sleep disorder group according to the sleep quality score. Stroke impact scale (SIS3.0) was used to evaluate the stroke-specific quality of life. Results The scores of QOL in physical, emotional, communicative, daily activities, mobility and hand function in patients with sleep disorders were significantly lower than those without sleep disorders (P <0.05, 0.01, 0.001). Conclusion The quality of life of first-episode ischemic stroke patients is closely related to the quality of life. The quality of life of ischemic stroke patients with sleep disorders is poor, which is manifested in physical, emotional, communication, daily activities, mobility, hand function . Sleep disorders have a significant effect on the quality of life in patients with ischemic stroke.
