旧时嫁娶风俗中富家的嫁妆十分惊人:床、桌、器具、箱笼、被褥一应俱全,日常所需无所不包,发嫁妆的队伍绵延数里,故称“十里红妆”。想要还原如此声势浩大、礼仪繁复的婚庆场面,实非易事。在整个项目团队的商讨之下,我们最终选择使用惠山泥人来完成整个场景人物与故事情节的表现,并邀请仇凤发先生完成剧本原画的编绘工作。曾被郭沫若先生赞誉为“人物无古今,须臾出手中”的惠山泥人本身也是一项具有深厚历史
