Standardization has now become a trend in the IT industry. Undoubtedly, standardization can reduce the user’s purchase cost and increase the user’s choice. However, standardization also brings about a negative aspect - forming the Matthew effect in IT technology. The stronger is stronger and the weaker is weaker. Since small businesses can not easily promote their technologies to the standards accepted by the entire industry, they are not easily accepted by users. Large technological innovations will be monopolized by a handful of large enterprises, which is not the case for the entire industry a good thing. In a sense, the IT industry should now provide a free and open competitive environment. The following three basic guidelines are extremely important. The first is to strictly enforce standards rather than abusing standards. In the field of hi-tech, all manufacturers are facing the problem of high development costs. Standardization can lower the barrier to entry and attract more market participants to promote mass market development and promote fair competition. With these standards, these participants can quickly grasp the relevant technologies and continuously reduce costs.
