1995年3月5日,我国第一条中外合资建设的铁路——金(华)温(州)铁路金华至缙云段胜利通车。 1995年3月下旬,京九铁路吉赣段长1200米的宝塔山隧道和长1102的金鸡岭隧道双双贯通。 1995年4月1日,南昆线南宁至那厘段交付柳州铁路局临管运输。 4月7日,西南地区进入东南亚走向世界最便捷的出海大通道——钦州至北海铁路全线铺通。 4月8日,南昆铁路高瓦斯隧道——长2450米的天生桥隧道贯通。
