PURPOSE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of propofol combined with fentanyl in invasive procedures in children with hematologic disorders. Methods: 206 cases of hematological diseases (including leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors, etc.) were randomly divided into observation group 112 cases and control group 94 cases. The observation group was treated with propofol combined with fentanyl during invasive operation, while the control group was given midazolam sedation during invasive operation. The sedation, recovery time and incidence of adverse reactions in both groups were compared. Results: The sedentary limb activity and recovery time in the observation group were less than those in the control group (all P <0.01). There was no significant difference in heart rate, respiration, mean arterial pressure and adverse reactions between the two groups before and after operation Significance (P> 0.05). Conclusions: Propofol combined with fentanyl sedation can effectively reduce the discomfort of children with hematologic diseases during invasive operation. It has the characteristics of high safety, rapid action and controlled risk, and is suitable for pediatric clinical practice.
