提出了一种可调谐选频变频器,利用半导体光放大器( S L A) 中的非简并四波混频( N D F W M) 过程实现波长转换.建立了 S L A 中 N D F W M 光变频器的理论模型,对 S L A 光变频器的变频机理及变频特性进行了分析与讨论.主要讨论了器件的一些特性参数对其变频效率及变频范围的影响,同时还分析了选频变频器的输出噪声特性.该器件响应速度快,变频效率高.变频范围大,完全能够满足密集波分复用系统中高速、大容量、可调谐的要求.
A tunable frequency selective converter is proposed to realize the wavelength conversion by using the non-degenerate four-wave mixing (NDFM) process in a semiconductor optical amplifier (SLA). The theoretical model of N D F W M optical frequency inverter in S L A was established and the frequency conversion mechanism and frequency conversion characteristics of S L A optical frequency converter were analyzed and discussed. It mainly discusses the influence of some characteristic parameters of the device on its frequency conversion efficiency and frequency conversion range, and also analyzes the output noise characteristics of the frequency selective inverter. The device response speed, high frequency conversion efficiency. Variable frequency range, fully able to meet the dense wavelength division multiplexing system in high-speed, high-capacity, tunable requirements.
