丸红株式会社是日本具有代表性的大型综合商社,拥有100多年历史,公司资本金总额1940亿日元(约合16亿美元),总部设在东京和大阪。公司现有职员5844人(另有海外员工2774人),在国内外拥有400多家连结决算企业,与世界众多国家和地区保持着长期稳定的贸易关系,海外的销售网点和办事机构已分布在82个国家。1998年的营业总额11兆9602亿元,其中对外贸易占56％,在日本综合商社中占领先地位。
Marubeni Co., Ltd. is Japan’s representative large-scale integrated trading company. With over 100 years of history, Marubeni Corporation has a total capital stock of 194 billion yen (about 1.6 billion U.S. dollars) and its headquarters are in Tokyo and Osaka. The company’s existing staff of 5844 people (and 2774 overseas employees), at home and abroad with more than 400 final accounts of enterprises, with many countries and regions in the world maintained a long-term and stable relations of trade, overseas sales outlets and offices have been distributed in 82 countries. In 1998, the total turnover was 11 trillion 960.2 billion yuan, of which foreign trade accounted for 56%, occupying a leading position in Japan’s comprehensive trading companies.
